We blend the construction of a classic moccasin with a traditional blucher’s open lacing system for a shoe that cradles your foot in comfort and is easy to step into and take off. Uppers are tooled in pull-up leather or suede. Wedged camp outsoles are crafted by Quoddy for superior wet or dry traction underfoot. Finished with pinking around the collar, lacquered eyelets and rawhide laces. Handmade in Maine using globally sourced materials.
*Please keep in mind some upper materials may be worn beyond repair. What you receive back is a pair of shoes that you can wear for years to come. (Environmentally friendly and obviously costs less than buying a new pair).

4 stars because the bottom of my outsole was covered in white/grey smudges. That wouldn’t come out.

Very disappointed to learn these are imported, not made in Maine as the description states. For the same price could have gone w Rancourt, which are made in Maine. Or, if I wanted imported, could have bought LLBean at half the price. FWIW, in a direct comparison to 2 other pairs of Bluchers I own, these seem much lower quality stitching & leather than Oak Street Bootmakers but about the same level as Bean.
Perfect fit, fully leather lined, no socks required. The craftsmanship and quality you can feel as soon as you open the box. I put them on and did not want to take them off. I am extremely picky and do not give credit to brands that do not pay attention to detail, this is a dark horse company delivering it. I don't own a boat but that may be my next shoe.
